StackCP Email Forwarding #

Email forwarding is a handy feature that allows you to automatically redirect incoming emails from one email address to another. This can be particularly useful in managing communication efficiently without needing multiple mailboxes actively monitored. StackCP provides two types of email forwarding: Individual Email Forwarding and Catch-All Forwarding.

Types of Email Forwarding #

1. Individual Email Forwarding
   • This allows you to forward emails from a specific email address to another. It’s ideal for redirecting mail from an address that doesn’t have a dedicated mailbox or from one that does but you want the emails to also reach another address.
2. Catch-All Email Forwarding
   • Catch-all forwarding is used to ensure that emails sent to incorrect email addresses at your domain do not get lost. This type of forwarding catches all emails sent to non-existent addresses under your domain and forwards them to a specified address.

Setting Up Email Forwarders #

Step 1: Access Manage Hosting #

• Log in to your CP CLOUD HOSTING account and navigate to the Manage Hosting section.

Step 2: Navigate to Email Forwarders #

• In the Manage Hosting dashboard, find and click on the Email Forwarders option under the Email section.

Step 3: Configure Your Forwarders #

• Type the Email Address to Forward: Enter the email address whose incoming mails you want to forward.
• Type the Destination Email Address: Enter the email address where you want the emails to be forwarded.
• Add the Forwarder: Click on Add forwarder to set up the forwarding rule.
