Important Requirements Before Migration #

  1. WordPress Installation Location:
    • Ensure WordPress is installed in the website root, specifically inside the public_html folder.
  2. PHP Compatibility:
    • The WordPress installation, including all plugins and themes, must be compatible with at least PHP 7.0. The platform currently supports the latest version of PHP 8.1.
  3. WordPress Exclusivity:
    • The webspace must not contain any software or code that does not belong to WordPress.
  4. Subdomains and Additional Domains:
    • Any subdomains or additional domains must point to the same WordPress install and be configured as a WordPress Network (Multisite).

Post-Migration Steps #

  • DNS Records:
    • A platform transfer will reset the DNS records on our nameservers to ensure the package points towards StackCP services. Reconfigure any external DNS records after the transfer completes.
